School counselors are meeting with freshman this week during English classes.  During this two day unit, students meet their school counselor, play "the GPA Game", and use Naviance to explore careers and start a resume.  Parents, please ask your students about this classroom program.

Students are encouraged to register to meet with college representatives during senior study hall time.  With classroom teacher permission, students can meet during a class time, but students are responsible for making up all missed work, tests/quizzes, etc.  See registration links in Naviance under the College tab.

Welcome Back!  The Counseling Center is currently located in the Board of Education room.  Our services remain the same-we are always 
available to answer questions from students, parents and staff-with a smile and quick response time.  Our new office, in the old Main Office location, should be completed soon and we look forward to a grand opening celebration.  Stay tuned!

Career Corner: Explorer Posts are a great opportunity for young people to learn about careers before committing to a life path.  These groups, organized by professionals doing these jobs, meet for several weeks and give students the opportunity to see the duties and responsibilities of each job.  There is a small fee attached to membership.  Contact: Bradley.Rickman@scouting.org to register.
